Welcome to the Morgan County Solid Waste Authority Web site!

PRESS RELEASE - November 15, 2017

Higher hauling fees from recycling vendors will result in fewer items being accepted at Morgan County’s recycling center.

Starting on Monday, December 11, the Charles R. Biggs Recycling Center will no longer accept any glass items or plastics #3-7, the Solid Waste Authority decided at their November 8 meeting. CLICK HERE to read full article from The Morgan Messenger.

When the "feels like" temperature is less than 20 degrees or above 90 degrees, we will close the Center to safeguard our employees.

The Charles R. Biggs Recycling Center is a self-service facility where the citizenry is encouraged to drop off recyclable materials. The site accepts recyclables at various times during the week.
